I’m Carol Glover, a senior executive and leadership coach who spent 40 years from C-suite to chief executive, often as the only woman in the room in male-dominated industries.
I now work with brilliant leaders, experts and specialists who, as they step up, begin to doubt themselves and their authority. “What if I can’t do this and they find out?” is a thought that often goes through their heads, and that’s where I come in.
We co-create the mindset, range and self-belief they need to think differently, lead boldly and bring people with them.
People call me the Maverick Maker because in an AI world we don’t need more machines. We need brave humans who know what to do when they don’t know what to do. Enabling that is the bit I do.

Carol has led across 15 industries, from the Isle of Man TT Races to Halfords Autocentres, without needing to be the technical expert.
That experience shaped a distinctive approach to leadership. Expertise matters, but it cannot be the whole identity. When certainty disappears, leaders need something deeper to stand on.
